WHAT ENTRY QUALIFICATIONS ARE REQUIRED FOR THE COURSE?

No formal entry qualification is required but you need to be in a position to generate evidence to demonstrate competence against the standard. All students will be expected to have an individual interview with the course tutor

ATTENDANCE

Start Date: January 2012

Mode of Delivery 1. One evening per week 6pm - 9pm (22 weeks)
Mode of Delivery 2. One day per week 9.00am till 4.30pm (9 weeks)

** Please note to properly engage with the programme we ask for an attendance of 75% minimum

COURSE STRUCTURE AND CONTENT

Seven Mandatory Units:

  • Understanding good practice in workplace coaching.
  • Organising workplace coaching.
  • Undertaking supervised coaching in the workplace.
  • Undertaking an extended period of supervised coaching in the workplace.
  • Understanding good workplace mentoring.
  • Organise and undertake supervised mentoring in the workplace.
  • Undertaking an extended period of supervised mentoring in the workplace.
These give the student 28 credits

ASSESSMENT

A mixture of work based assignments, coaching diary, reflective reviews, personal development plan and reflective log and mentoring diary.

HOW MUCH WILL IT COST?

Course Costs - £450 (price includes all tuition, registration and certification fees, 6 months FREE membership of ILM).

Additional Expenses - Stationery & Purchase of recommended text books.
